Just like any investment, natural stone needs to be properly cared for and maintained. Highly polished surfaces can dull and scratch from use. Calcium-based stones can be damaged by acidic foods, liquids and cleaning products. Even a stone as hard as granite can become chipped or cracked. To preserve the elegance and value of your home, you can count on Madison Stone Care. We can resolve all these issues and keep your stone in top condition.

Madison stone  Care is one of the most elegant and impressive appointments in your home or building. It is beautiful and durable. Like any surface, however, it can become scratched, chipped, etched, or dulled in appearance. Or it may have been installed improperly, leaving it with lippage.

If this has happened to your fine natural stone surfaces, you may think you have to live with it or go to the expense of replacing it. Nothing could be further from the truth!

At Madison Stone Care we know how to clean, polish, repair and restore all types of natural stone.

Tile and grout surfaces, whether simple, complex, or somewhere in between, can be difficult to keep clean! If you scrub and scrub and the tile still seems dirty, chances are it’s the grout lines, not the tile itself to blame. Grout is porous, which means it is full of tiny holes that become embedded with dirt and contaminants. We can deep clean and sanitize your tile and grout surfaces and then seal or color seal the grout to resist future staining and contaminant absorption.

Tile and Grout Cleaning and Sealing

Amazingly Clean Tile & Grout—No Elbow Grease Required

Tile cleaning is tough work. Grout cleaning is even harder, especially, if you’re using a toothbrush and elbow grease, but a quick phone call or email to schedule tile and grout deep cleaning services with Natural Stone Care can change all that. Our trained technicians use specialized equipment to extract deeply embedded dirt and grime, thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing your tile, grout, and baseboards. We use nonabrasive yet effective methods with adjustable heat and pressure for deep-down clean.

We service tile and grout floors, shower walls, tub surrounds, hot tub surrounds, pool decks, table tops, and more in both residential and commercial properties.

Tile & Grout Repair and Restoration

We can resolve a host of tile and grout problems, such as fixing grout cracks or filling in missing grout, as well as tile repair and replacement.

Grout Sealing

After your tile and grout is deep cleaned and sanitized, take advantage of our grout sealing services. We use the highest quality grout sealer available for the best protection. Grout sealer is absorbed into the porous surface, filling in the tiny holes where contaminants collect. It leaves your floor with a clean and fresh look that is much easier to maintain, because regular cleaning is more productive.

Grout Color Sealing

If your grout has permanent stains or a blotchy appearance due to improper installation, grout color sealing may be the solution you are looking for. With our grout color sealing (also known as grout dyeing) services, we can match your existing color, or we can change the color of your grout to any color you want and give your floors a completely different look. Plus, color sealing actually prevents staining, a very common grout problem. With constant-acting mildewcides and fungicides, your grout stays cleaner and healthier than unsealed or clear sealed grout.

The word “concrete” usually conjures visions of chalky sidewalks, industrial flooring, and other unimpressive imagery. But concrete has come a long way in recent years, moving beyond durable, practical, and cost-effective to trendy and beautiful. If your concrete walkway or entrance is chipped, stained, or cracked, if your concrete is oil-stained, gray, or boring, we have good news. Our master artisans can transform your dull and dirty concrete into an easy-to-maintain, honed or polished masterpiece.

Concrete Polishing

Visual Appeal, Increased Durability, and Less Maintenance

More and more business owners, industrial site managers, and even home owners are discovering the cost effective and attractive solutions polished concrete represents. Since most modern structures are built on a concrete slab, the stage is already set for a durable, abrasive-resistant, and potentially stunning final surface, without the need for extensive installation costs and additional materials.

Madison Stone Care is one of the leading providers of concrete polishing and other services in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pensylvania and areas. Our experienced technicians will prepare your existing concrete surface with diamond-encrusted pads and a chemical densifier, then stain, polish and finish according to your specifications. So, whether you are looking to have your concrete stamped, stained, or dyed, if your concrete needs repaired, or if you want your concrete to have the perfect satin/matte or polished finish, we are your go-to concrete experts.

Stamped Concrete

When texture and color are added to give the appearance of stone, brick, slate, and sometimes even wood, it is considered stamped concrete. The array of possibilities combined with great durability and a cost which is typically lower than the materials it imitates make stamped concrete an easy choice for new construction and renovation projects alike. Stamped concrete is a desirable finish for driveways, patios, commercial roads and parking lots, and even interior floors. However, over time, dyes may fade and the surface can start to look patchy and unpresentable. Madison Stone Care can rejuvenate faded or damaged stamped concrete and get it looking like new again.

Staining or Dying Concrete

There are a variety of stains and dyes which can be applied, re-applied or incorporated into concrete surfaces to enhance or restore the appearance or your flooring. Color is achieved by using dry shakes or color hardeners, powder or liquid releases, integral colors or acid stains. All these products may be combined to create even more intricate designs. Top it off with polishing and the results can be both durable and strikingly beautiful, and a wide range of looks can be achieved.

Exposing the Aggregate

The top layers of your concrete slab can be ground down to expose the aggregate materials, then polished for a look which can mimic terrazzo at a fraction of the cost.

Hole & Spall Patching & Repair

Has your concrete surface developed pits or cracks or sunken areas? The experts at Natural Stone Care can raise and repair your concrete surface, filling pits and holes, and returning it to like new condition (or better!)

The Benefits of Polished Concrete Flooring

In addition to the things mentioned above, polished concrete flooring has many other benefits. It is incredibly low maintenance—moping with warm soapy water will do the trick. It is hard-wearing and will not chip or dent like softer surfaces. Polished concrete reduces dust mite and allergen problems, and does not support mold growth. Evidence suggests highly reflective polished concrete reduces lighting needs and enhances natural lighting. Its relatively high coefficient of friction also gives it a degree of slip resistance. A concrete floor that has been hardened and polished will have an extremely long life expectancy compared to other flooring. If this sounds like a good solution to you, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
